Since 2016, Outlook Psychology Practice has been a trusted provider of evidence-based mental health services to rural and remote communities across Australia. We offer therapy, EAP, and psychological assessments through strong referral pathways from GPs, government agencies, EAP providers, community organisations, and self-referrals.

We believe psychology has no barriers. Through secure telehealth platforms, we deliver essential care to those who might otherwise go without.

The Opportunity:

We're expanding our team and seeking passionate Registered Psychologists to join us in fully remote subcontractor roles. Positions offer autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact, without compromising your work–life balance.

You'll provide therapy and/or assessments for children, adolescents, and adults across a range of presentations, with a strong focus on trauma-informed and culturally safe care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy and assessments via secure telehealth
  • Prepare professional reports for clinical, educational, and occupational purposes
  • Liaise with GPs, referrers, and other services for coordinated care
  • Provide culturally safe, trauma-informed care, including for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
  • Maintain accurate records and engage in ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and full registration/accreditation (AHPRA or AASW)
  • Medicare provider eligibility
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
  • Strong clinical, report-writing, and telehealth skills
  • Private, secure workspace with reliable internet

Desirable:

  • Experience with trauma, addictions, and complex presentations
  • Child, adolescent, or family therapy experience
  • Proficiency in CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR
  • Familiarity with rural and remote mental health challenges
  • Knowledge of EAP and solution-focused models
