About
About your role
Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Maintenance within the Maintenance Services Department, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by your:

• The ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
• Manufacture and/or welding to piping, fittings valves etc
• Maintenance and repair work on Drum filters, settlers, tertiaries, and associated pumps and piping
• Developing and implementing improvements for plant equipment
• Improvement of work processes and practices

What You Will Bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:

• A positive and motivated attitude with the ability to communicate effectively and work safely in a team environment
• Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter
• Pumps. turbine, mills and fan maintenance experience would be advantageous
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Self-motivated with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement
• Forklift, dogging and rigging qualifications would be advantageous
