Merge is currently seeking experienced HR Drivers with a solid background in operating Hiab, Tautliner, Hook or rear lift waste removal trucks. We have multiple roles available South of the River, with immediate starts for the right candidates:

· Rear Lift Drivers

· Hook Truck Driver

· Hiab/Crane Driver

· Tautliner Driver

These roles are temp to perm opportunities. Overtime and weekend work are available and may be required.

About the Hook & Rear Lift Roles

  • Operate Hook or rear lift trucks for waste removal services.
  • Load and unload bins safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure safe operation of collection vehicles.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.

About the Hiab and Tautliner Roles

  • Operate a 9.9-tonne rated Hiab crane truck (up to 3-tonne lifting capacity when not extended) or Tautliner.
  • Alternate duties with a tautliner truck driver as needed (e.g., for CBD deliveries with height restrictions).
  • Perform bin deliveries, removals, and repairs, along with other general tasks.
  • Ensure the safe and compliant operation of all collection vehicles.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a HR licensed driver.
  • Rear lift, Hook, tipper truck or Hiab/Crane experience highly desirable.
  • Clean driving record and a current HR license.
  • Hiab ticket (highly advantageous).
  • Able to work in tight access areas with care and skill.
  • Physically fit – able to manage high-volume runs (50–70 sites daily), with multiple bins or bales to move per site.
  • Available to start between 4:00AM & 5:00AM and capable of working 10-12 hours.
  • Strong safety focus and familiarity with OHS practices.
  • A hardworking, reliable and positive attitude.
