About MacKillop College
We are a Catholic Coeducational Secondary College with two campuses, set on approximately 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and playing fields. MacKillop is an innovative learning community offering contemporary facilities, a vibrant curriculum and supportive wellbeing programs that are respectful and responsive to the individual needs of approximately 1,730 students from Years 7-12.
About the role
We invite passionate Teachers at every stage of their career to come join our vibrant community of dedicated Educators. We are currently seeking a Teacher, experienced or interested in teaching an integrated curriculum for our Year 9 students, based at our St Mary's Campus.
The St. Mary's program offers an exciting and challenging program for students to be active and engaged learners, through their participation in a semester of learning experiences which focuses on their individuality, creativity and the local community.
The curriculum has been designed to include outdoor education camps, excursions, and immersion days in addition to traditional classroom learning. Our ideal candidate will have strong teaching skills across a range of learning areas including English, Religious Education, Humanities, Science, Arts and Technology combined with an ability to participate in physical activities and empower students to explore their personal strengths and develop new life skills.
Our community of talented educators strives to prepare students for life both in and outside of the classroom, through an engaging curriculum filled with learning experiences designed to encourage every student to achieve their personal and academic potential.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity however, part-time applications will also be considered. The successful applicant can commence immediately.
