Your Role

As a Chef, you'll bring flair, efficiency, and creativity to the kitchen. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals for café service, catering events, and functions, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and present menu items for breakfast, lunch, and function service
  • Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Monitor stock rotation, minimise waste, and assist with ordering
  • Assist with mis en place and ensure food is stored and labelled correctly
  • Communicate with front-of-house staff on menu availability and changes
  • Work across all kitchen sections and assist other chefs as required
  • Uphold food safety procedures and maintain required documentation

About You

You're a motivated, adaptable chef who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in your work.

You'll bring:

  • Trade qualification or apprenticeship completion
  • Experience in café, restaurant or catering environments
  • Strong technical skills across all kitchen sections
  • Solid understanding of food safety and dietary requirements
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent quality
  • Great communication, time management, and organisation skills

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Experience in high-volume kitchen settings
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction
