Your Role
As a Chef, you'll bring flair, efficiency, and creativity to the kitchen. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals for café service, catering events, and functions, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and present menu items for breakfast, lunch, and function service
- Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Monitor stock rotation, minimise waste, and assist with ordering
- Assist with mis en place and ensure food is stored and labelled correctly
- Communicate with front-of-house staff on menu availability and changes
- Work across all kitchen sections and assist other chefs as required
- Uphold food safety procedures and maintain required documentation
About You
You're a motivated, adaptable chef who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in your work.
You'll bring:
- Trade qualification or apprenticeship completion
- Experience in café, restaurant or catering environments
- Strong technical skills across all kitchen sections
- Solid understanding of food safety and dietary requirements
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent quality
- Great communication, time management, and organisation skills
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Food Handling Certificate
- Experience in high-volume kitchen settings
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction
