Leadership opportunity to shape excellence in aged care education and workforce capability across Metro South Hospital and Health Service.
Your New Role
As Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for leading, designing and delivering high-quality aged care education programs that build workforce capability and ensure safe, compliant and person-centred care across residential and transition care services.
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of contemporary aged care education and training programs aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation.
- Provide advanced clinical and educational expertise to support nurses and multidisciplinary teams across residential aged care and transition care programs.
- Promote a strong culture of learning, professional development, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.
- Act as a key senior leader, engaging with internal stakeholders and external bodies including the Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
*About you:*
You are an experienced and motivated Nurse Educator with a strong background in aged care, a passion for workforce development and the ability to translate evidence-based practice into meaningful education outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with advanced clinical knowledge and experience in aged care education, training and workforce capability development.
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate education programs that meet legislative, accreditation and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence practice and support change.
- Adaptive, agile and forward-thinking, with a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement in a dynamic aged care environment.
