Coffey Testing has an exciting opportunity for a recent or soon to be university graduate ready to begin their career in Human Resources.
As the HR Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing assistance to the People & Performance Team as they work through day-to-day HR operations and HR projects.
You will work and learn alongside our HR Officer and the Chief People & Performance Officer and gain the foundational knowledge required to launch your career, gaining the skillset of a true HR Generalist.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Manage the HR inbox and employee queries in line with our internal processes.
- Coordinate recruitment processes including updating position descriptions, advertising, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screening and reference checks, and liaising with hiring managers and applicants.
- Co-ordinate on-boarding and off-boarding administration processes including preparation of employment contracts, letters, new employee packs, induction packs, induction training, probation reviews, exit surveys and interviews, termination checklists, and other HR documents and correspondence.
- Support the HR team as requires on projects and process improvements
- Provide other administrative support as necessary.
About you
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following criteria:
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Current studying a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Well-developed computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, including the capacity to learn new systems.
