We are seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our growing team at our CAIRNS location.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
  • Utilize hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
  • Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Skills:

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work 40+ hours per week
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage in an industrial setting
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience using hand tools or power tools preferred but not required
  • Possess an OHS Construction Induction (White Card)

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Availability for an immediate start.
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver's license (essential)
  • White card (essential)
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a valid National Police Clearance for a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
