About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Health and Physical Education lessons that foster student growth and wellbeing
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and assessment tools to support diverse learning needs and maximise student outcomes
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and innovation within the HPE team
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Actively promote student participation in sport, health, and wellbeing programs
  • Uphold MGGS's commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life

About You:

  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or can gain VIT registration. Early career teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Expertise in Health and Physical Education curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices
  • Experience with or interest in outdoor education highly regarded
  • Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
  • Passionate about student wellbeing and inspiring healthy, active lifestyles
  • Proficient in using digital tools (including LMS and multimedia programs) to enhance teaching and learning
