About the Position

We are seeking experienced hospitality workers with barista skills to tend our outlets:

• Wirths Cafe serves as a central gathering place for staff at Arts Centre Melbourne in the Theatres building, in addition to artists, performers and technical crew. It offers a thoughtfully curated selection of sandwiches and pastries, alongside a salad buffet and a rotating menu of daily specials.
• The Deli is located in the Australian Ballet Centre and serves nutritious meals and takeaway options for students, employees, performers and crew.

Operating hours of these outlets are between 8am and 8pm.

Hourly rate of $31.76 inclusive of 25% casual loading plus superannuation.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic and passionate individual, with:

• Experience in customer service
• Experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation
• Barista skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current RSA Certificate
• Experience and knowledge of food handling standards and OHS compliance
