Position Overview
As a Streaming Studio Technician, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art motion-capture studio. Your primary responsibilities will include managing studio audio, video, and motion capture systems - with a particular focus on radio microphone systems - supporting performers, and assisting with motion capture operations. You'll work closely with both creative and technical teams to deliver smooth, high-quality streaming experiences for our global audience.
Please note: This is a 24/7 environment, and shift work (including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts) is required by ALL employees. (Penalties Apply)
Key Responsibilities
Radio Microphone Systems: Operate, manage, and maintain radio microphone systems to ensure reliable, clear audio for all studio productions. Practical experience with radio microphone technology will be highly regarded and is an advantage for this position.
Studio Audio: Operate, manage, and troubleshoot other studio audio equipment including wired microphones, mixers, and acoustic treatments - to maintain professional audio output.
Performer Support: Assist performers by fitting equipment such as radio microphones and providing clear guidance to ensure optimal performance and smooth sessions.
- Motion Capture: Support the setup, operation, and calibration of motion capture systems as needed to ensure accurate, high-quality data capture.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues related to streaming, audio, lighting, and motion capture equipment during live or recorded sessions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative and technical teams to meet production requirements and ensure seamless integration of audio, video, and motion capture elements.
Qualifications

Experience operating studio audio/video equipment.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
Experience working with performers in a studio, broadcast, or theatre environment.
Familiarity with streaming technologies and related software is a plus.
Experience with motion capture systems is desirable but not required - training can be provided.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing production needs.
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience in Lighting, Audio, Motion Capture, or Broadcast Equipment is preferred. However, candidates with expertise in only one area will be considered, and training will be provided for the remaining areas.
