About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled GIS professional to make a meaningful impact in the vegetation management industry. As Geospatial Administrator, you will play a key role in developing scalable, user-friendly spatial tools and services that support both strategic and operational initiatives. The role involves working on field-centric projects, managing enterprise GIS platforms, and contributing to how spatial data informs environmental and business decisions.
You will apply spatial expertise and systems thinking to support the design, delivery, and maintenance of geospatial solutions. This includes managing ArcGIS Enterprise, building maps and applications, automating workflows, and collaborating across teams to integrate spatial data into enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement spatial solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise and related technologies
- Develop and maintain high-quality web maps, applications, and spatial data services
- Manage and configure ArcGIS Enterprise components, including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Data Store
- Lead internal geospatial projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, delivery, and documentation
- Maintain and enhance geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and performance
- Automate spatial workflows using tools such as FME, Python, and ModelBuilder
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams on spatial tools and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate spatial data into enterprise systems and decision-making processes
- Stay current with geospatial technologies and recommend improvements or innovations to enhance spatial capabilities
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team capability development.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in geography, geographic information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geospatial systems, with a focus on solution delivery and platform management.
- Proficiency in Esri technologies, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Arcade, ArcGIS Pro, Survey123 and Field Maps.
- Strong skills in spatial data management, analysis, automation and visualization.
- Experience with FME, Python, and other scripting tools for ETL and workflow automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead spatial projects and mentor team members.

- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- The role will be based out of the Wollongong Office.
- The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
- Remuneration will be based on candidate's skill and experience.
