Truss Jig Setter

We are a leading family owned timber truss manufacturing plant looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you should possess knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery to assemble timber roof and floor trusses. Additionally, you should have the ability to read and understand simple diagrams and carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.

As part of our team, you will be required to lift and carry timber components frequently, and work in a team environment. A forklift license would be preferable, but not essential, and you should have a good standard of fitness to be able to stand and lift all day.

At our manufacturing plant, we value reliability and self-motivation. The primary objective of this role is to work as part of a team who build quality trusses for our customers.

Previous truss plant experience IS required for this role.

This is a full time, permanent position that we are looking to fill, starting immediately.

Working hours are 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday and 7:00am-3:00pm on Fridays. There may sometimes be occasional Saturday shifts on offer too.
