Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Drafter role based in Redbank Plains Brisbane QLD. The Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and schematics, interpreting design concepts, collaborating with engineering teams, revising drawings to meet specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate with production teams and project managers to integrate drawings seamlessly into manufacturing processes and provide technical support when required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, especially AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Knowledge of fire suppression, industrial equipment, or pump systems is advantageous
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and industry standards
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in mining, transport, construction, or related industries is a plus
