The Opportunity

We are partnering with a large, complex organisation to engage a senior Solutions Architect (Data Analytics) for a high-profile contract based in Brisbane CBD. This role suits an experienced architect specialising in modern data and analytics platforms, with a strong focus on architecture leadership and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

You will lead the design and evaluation of enterprise-grade data and analytics solutions across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments. The role is architecture-led, focusing on options analysis, governance, and alignment to business outcomes rather than hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture
  • Translate business and data requirements into scalable designs
  • Conduct options analysis and evaluate analytics platforms
  • Advise on architecture risks, security, performance, and cost
  • Produce architecture artefacts and documentation
  • Support data governance, privacy, and security compliance
  • Engage senior stakeholders to align solutions to strategy

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive solutions architecture experience in data and analytics
  • Strong enterprise and cloud data architecture background (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Purview, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI
  • Solid understanding of data integration, modelling, and governance
  • Experience in large, complex or regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills

Contract Details

  • 6-month contract (extension possible)
  • 40 hours per week, predominantly onsite in Brisbane CBD
  • Up to $1,050 per day + GST
  • Criminal history check required
