The role

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Hotel Income Auditor to join our team at Crown Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial records and income reports.

In this role, you'll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests by:

  • Conduct thorough audits of Hotel revenue transactions and accounting records to identify discrepencies and ensure compliance with accounting standards, Hotel and company policies, work insturctions and procedures
  • Review, reconcile and verify all Hotel cashiering transactions and ensure that all cashiering balances and is correctly accounted for
  • Be the key point of contact for all internal and external customer Hotel account enquiries
  • Prepare detailed income reports, financial statements, and audit findings for management review
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during the auditing process
  • Provide support and guidance to hotel staff regarding financial reporting and accounting practices

About you

You'll bring:

  • Extensive customer service experience with a minimum of 1 years' experience in a Front Office environment
  • Proven experience in dealing with cashiering within a highly regulated environment
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and OPERA Property Management System
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work within designated deadlines
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Information

This role requires

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Understanding of Hotel Property Management Systems (preferably OPERA)
