About Us

Alcyone Group is an expanding hospitality and management rights company with premium apartment hotels and residential buildings across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Following the recent opening of Market Lane Residences and The Corso, we are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Public Area Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

Working across our two Maroochydore properties, you'll help maintain high presentation standards across common areas, amenities, and facilities. You'll be part of a professional on-site team focused on delivering an exceptional experience for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, lifts, corridors, amenities, and poolside spaces
  • Replenish consumables and maintain storerooms in a tidy and organised state
  • Spot-clean glass, stainless steel, and high-touch areas
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
  • Support the caretaking team with occasional deep cleaning or project tasks

About You

  • Proven experience in commercial, hotel, or residential cleaning preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Reliability and consistency — you take pride in doing the job properly
  • Available for early morning, daytime, or weekend shifts (rostered as required)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow safety procedures
  • Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
