About the work unit / facility

The Townsville Eating Disorder Service is part of the Mental Health Specialist Services within the Mental Health Service Group. Based in Townsville, the team delivers evidence-based care and support to individuals and families impacted by eating disorders across North Queensland, including via telehealth.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $64.64 – $69.55 per hour (HP4).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with % loading.

About your opportunity

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will provide high-level clinical services and leadership within the Townsville Eating Disorder Service. You will deliver evidence-based interventions, support multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to service improvement and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
  • Credentialed status or willingness to become credentialed with ANZAED.
  • Authorised Mental Health Practitioner status or willingness to obtain.
  • Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
  • A probationary period may apply.
