Role Description

This is a flexible hybrid or remote role for a entry level Software Engineers located in Melbourne, VIC with the opportunity to advance into specialised roles with MirrorMapper after the successful completion of the internship. Salary determined by experience. Responsibilities include developing, managing software solutions and integrating advanced drone-based systems with AI and real-time sensing technology and will be tailored based on type of engineering role.

Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science (Software Development)
  • Programming skills, must be proficient in at least 1 Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language
  • Experience in Back-End Development, proficiency in Python
  • Experience working with AWS Cloud Services (preferred) or Microsoft Azure
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Penultimate or completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in geospatial science or robotics, full-stack software development, AppSecDev or sales is a plus
