Irrigation Store Sales Consultant

About Us: Located in the heart of South Australia's renowned wine regions, the Barossa Valley and Clare, Irrigation Works operates two retail stores offering a comprehensive range of products, including domestic and agricultural pumps, drip lines, valves, pipes, fittings, automatic controllers, water tanks, filters, and smart water-saving solutions. Established in 1995, we are a privately owned business with a longstanding reputation for quality service.

Our dedicated team plays a crucial role in helping customers choose the best irrigation and plumbing products with friendly, expert advice. Both stores feature workshops and installation services.

About the Role: We are seeking a Sales Consultant, ideal for the Clare store:

  • An experienced irrigation technician or tradesperson looking to move off the tools (full or part-time).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with counter sales of pumps and irrigation equipment
  • Provide technical advice to customers
  • Maintain trade client relationships
  • Manage inventory and stock control
  • Handle customer enquiries

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in the pump and irrigation industry (advantageous but not essential)
  • Enthusiastic, well-presented, and polite demeanor
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong mathematical knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills
  • Mechanical aptitude or engineering knowledge
  • Interest in learning technical sales solutions
