Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Lead Solutions: Design and implement end-to-end architectures using SAP BTP (including AI Core, Integration Suite, Extension Suite), ensuring seamless multi-cloud integration with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Drive AI & Data Innovation: Integrating with data technologies like SAP DataSphere and external tools
• Manage Integration Hub: Establish and optimize our central Integration Hub as an API-led, event-driven platform, connecting SAP ecosystems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors) with non-SAP systems for real-time data flow and automation.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team of developers, data scientists, and engineers; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Strategic Roadmap: Own the BTP/AI roadmap, align with business goals, enforce "clean core" strategies, and measure success through KPIs like ROI, adoption rates, and efficiency gains.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with C-suite executives, business units, and partners to translate requirements into actionable tech strategies; present architectures and progress to drive buy-in.
• Governance & Best Practices: Ensure ethical AI practices, data governance, security, and compliance in multi-cloud environments; mitigate risks and resolve complex challenges.

About you

• Experience: 10+ years in technical or enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in leadership roles and at least 2 projects under your belt on SAP BTP, AI/ML, and data integration. Proven track record leading teams on large-scale projects, ideally in multi-cloud setups.

• Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of SAP BTP pillars (Database & Data Management, Analytics, App Development, Intelligent Technologies).

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (SAP AI Core/Launchpad, Joule, custom ML models) and data platforms (HANA, DataSphere, SAC).
• Proficiency in integration technologies (SAP Integration Suite, APIs, event meshes) and multi-cloud orchestration (Kyma/Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry).

• Familiarity with AI ethics, MLOps, and scaling AI in production.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, resolve technical disputes, and deliver projects on time/budget. Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Passion for innovation and staying ahead of trends in AI and cloud tech.
