THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is perfect for a Senior Tax Business Services Accountant with over 5 years' experience in a CA/CPA firm who seeks greater autonomy and the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio. You'll have the chance to demonstrate your leadership and expertise, particularly through mentoring and training junior staff.
As a senior member of the team, you will be supported by a skilled group of accountants and benefit from a clear career progression path, including opportunities for partnership. With senior partners approaching retirement, there is an imminent opportunity for advancement and succession within the firm.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored accounting, tax, and business advisory services to individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns and BAS Provide expert tax planning, compliance and advisory services to clients in a wide range of industries Act as a trusted advisor, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and providing sound business and tax advice Mentor and guide junior accountants, providing support and professional development Stay up-to-date with Australian tax laws and regulations to ensure clients remain compliant Participate in regular professional development and contribute to the growth and success of the firm
