Your role as the ENT SRMO/Unaccredited Registrar for 2026 will be to provide clinical, educational and research support for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical

  • Assisting in Operating Theatres
  • Attend Visitor Medical Officers/ Specialty Clinics
  • Conduct and attend weekly multidisciplinary Meetings
  • Ward Duties
  • Participate in Audit
  • Participate in weekend rounds and on-call duties, including Northern Beaches Hospital
  • Assist the ENT and Head & Neck teams at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and COBLH

Education

  • Participate and Assist in Education Sessions
  • Supervise and Teach Medical Students
  • Assist in Courses and Conferences

Research

  • Participate in Clinical Research
  • Conference Presentations

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills and experience

  1. Current AHPRA registration
  2. Dedication and interest in entering advanced ENT training
  3. Evidence of Publications, Presentations and ongoing interest in Research
  4. Interest in Teaching
  5. Evidence of immunisations to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy for a Category A position.
