The Role
We're seeking a proactive
Project Engineer
to join our
Sustaining Capital Projects
Team in West Perth. This role is all about supporting the successful delivery of projects that keep operations running smoothly, with a strong focus on earthworks and HDPE piping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure accuracy in pricing and execution
  • Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage onsite resources including plant, people, and equipment
  • Support project start-up activities including constructability reviews and methodology development
  • Provide technical engineering support to project teams and collaborate closely with Supervisors
  • Develop project deliverables for site execution including work packs, QA/QC documentation, methodologies, and schedules
  • Coordinate procurement of materials within budget
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting including budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling
  • Liaise with clients, Warrikal management, and project stakeholders

About You

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Hold an Australian recognised qualification (ideally engineering)
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven problem-solving capability with a high level of resilience and resolve
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees.
