About the Role
Reporting to the Lighting Technician - Team Leader, you will be is responsible for the coordination of product that is under warranty and/or returned, ensuring that products are repaired and ready for dispatch.
To be understand the role, duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordination of warranty and repair products
- Technical repair on damaged/faulty products under warranty
- Support production team with reworks and meet specifications
- Supporting wider warehouse team when required
- Achieve warehouse operational objectives by contributing to the warehouse team and adhering to the production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; assisting with stocktakes.
- Secures property by adhering to protection and access policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Adhere to OH&S compliance in all areas and contribute to a 'safety first' culture within the organisation. Follow OH&S policies and warehouse procedures.
- Making recommendations and assist in driving continuous process improvement.
- Participate in positive employee engagement.
- Other duties as directed.
About You
You have at least 2 years prior experience working in a similar position with good understanding of electrical/lighting componentry. You are familiar with safe work practices, have used power tools, have the ability to work quickly, accurately, autonomously as well as part of a team. Experience working in an assembly and production environment is well regarded.
