This is a key opportunity for an experienced GIS professional with strong administration and platform management skills who thrives on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical spatial systems, and improving how the City uses location intelligence to serve the community.

About your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, optimisation, and ongoing support of Council's GIS platform and related infrastructure. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of spatial systems, enabling reliable access to data and services across operational, planning, and analytical functions.

  • Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to technical support staff, ensuring administrative best practices are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational security, privacy, and data management policies in GIS operations.
