Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company carrying general and refrigerated freight.

Based at our Head Office in Yatala you will lead a team of forklift operators and yard-hands dealing with a variety of sensitive freight in refrigerated trailers and tautliner trailers.

The role:

  • Tues, Weds, Thurs 9.30am until finish (approx. 6.00pm)
  • Friday 10am starts until finish (approx. 6.30pm)
  • Saturdays 5.30am starts until finish (approx. 1-2pm)

About you:

  • Strong time management and communication skills are imperative as ensuring loading and unloading deadlines are met is a critical aspect of this role
  • Team leadership is a key requirement
  • Experience with refrigerated freight is a MUST
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF) is a MUST
  • Knowledge of appropriate load restraint equipment and techniques
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Sound literacy and numeracy

This role includes assisting your team, helping each other load and secure freight from time to time. 5% office duties the rest is physical work just like your team on the floor.
