Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Concreter/Formworker based in Gladstone, QLD. The Concreter/Formworker will be responsible for preparing and setting concrete structures, pouring, spreading, and leveling concrete, and ensuring the quality and finish of concrete surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include erecting formwork, securing structures, mixing concrete, and operating related equipment. The role may also involve the repair and rehabilitation of existing concrete structures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in concrete work, including pouring, leveling, and finishing
  • Skilled in formwork preparation and erection
  • Familiarity with concrete repair and rehabilitation techniques
  • Knowledge of operating concrete-related equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and environmental sustainability
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks
  • Previous experience in civil construction is a plus
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
