With a commitment to the highest standards of care, we are looking for a passionate Clinical Nurse to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our care services and ensuring that we meet the needs of our community.
The RoleReporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in delivering high-quality care to residents.
You'll oversee clinical standards, mentor and support nursing and care staff, and ensure that every resident receives care aligned with the Australian Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission Standards.
You'll influence care outcomes, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence whilst demonstrating our values of compassion, accountability, respect and trust.
Position OverviewIn this role, you will utilise your clinical and influencing knowledge and experience with your people management skills to ensure that our residents are supported and cared for. This includes:
- Mentoring, coaching and supporting nursing and care staff
- Delivering and overseeing high standards of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents
- Engaging with our residents, families and staff in person-centred care planning and service delivery
- Assessing and managing residents with complex needs to ensure optimum care
- Promoting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and internal policies
- Monitor clinical documentation, care plans and reviews
We are looking for a pro-active, motivated, confident Clinical Nurse with a strong commitment to making a difference in aged care.
As a confident and collaborative leader, you will have the following:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2-3 years' post-registration experience in aged care (or acute care willing to learn aged care)
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Sound understanding of clinical governance and aged care quality standards
- A capacity to multitask, prioritise and delegate in order to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
