Oxy Cutter

Workfast is looking for anExperienced Oxy Cutter to join our client's team working in the workshop and the yard in Brooklyn, VIC.

Highlights:

• $46.25 per hour + Penalties + Super
• Monday to Friday - ongoing work
• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - stable hours
• Weekend work available
• Work for a reputable company with casual to permanent opportunity

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven oxy cutting experience
• Solid understanding of steel cutting equipment
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
• High attention to detail and safety standards
• Working in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to work in outdoor environments and all weather conditions
• Mechanical aptitude
• Reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute
• Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical

Responsibilities :

• Carry out oxy cutting tasks with precision and safety
• Operate steel cutting machinery and tools
• Perform regular heavy lifting as part of the job
• Read prints and diagrams and follow the specifications
• Assisting the team where necessary
• Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
