Native/fluent German speakers for part time coordinator position in German after school language program

DerDieDas Inc. was founded in late 2018 and aims to provide children who have a solid German language background with an engaging German language and culture learning environment, facilitated through a weekly after school language program. We currently run various classes from prep - grade 6 at Bentleigh and Frankston.

We are seeking part-time coordinator (approx 15-20hrs/month) to support us with program coordination for both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication with Families: Promptly respond to enrolment and trial class inquiries, providing detailed information as required. Manage term enrolments, maintaining regular communication with enrolled families. Coordinate the distribution of student feedback to families, organise book orders, class schedules, and assessments.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiations with venue operators regarding venue hire. Conduct invoice verification for tutors and respond to tutor queries. Coordinate bi-annual tutor meetings. Oversee the annual risk assessment for the facilities to ensure a safe learning environment. Attend wider team meetings. Program promotion via website and other channels as required.
  • Child Safety: Adhere to and actively promote DerDieDas Inc.'s Child Safe Policy, ensuring its implementation within all program activities.
