This role is a direct result of our groundbreaking KU Children's Services Teacher's Enterprise Agreement 2025. Our new agreement is designed to continue setting new benchmarks in the sector, providing our employees with the best conditions.
The Hours and Preschool:
KU Castlecrag Preschool has been established for over 60 years and has long held a reputation for excellence in the education and care of children aged 3-5 years old in the community. This 50-place preschool has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards and operates within the Castlecrag community centre, with free parking onsite as well as multiple bus stops close by on Edinburgh Road.
This curriculum is interest based and child focused and views children as being independent, competent, capable and unique learners who have control of their own learning and environment. The service has a long standing "Yana Nura" bush program, so a interest in sustainability and bush programs is also highly desirable.

This opportunity will see you join the team Monday to Friday 11:00am-2pm on a permanent basis.

Of course, you will need:
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
- Current Working with Children Check
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
