Queensland Commercial Diving Services is an innovative commercial diving and marine construction company committed to safety and customer satisfaction. QCDS is based in Townsville, North Queensland and has the capability to mobilize to anywhere in Australia.

Qualifications & experience

• ADAS Occupational SSBA to 30m (Part 2)
• "C" class driver licence
• Construction general induction card ("blue" or "white" card) Senior First Aid and CPR certificate Pre-dive medical current at all times
• Hourly rate will be determined on qualifications and prior experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of commercial diving experience required.
• Other trade qualifications would be encouraged.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Commercial diving activities, including but not limited to: Working below surface of water, using surface supplied diving gear to inspect, salvage,repair, remove, or install equipment and structures.
• Construction work using a variety of power and hand tools.
• Ensuring equipment is appropriately tested, inspected, utilised and maintained.
• Complying with programs/dive project plans & maintaining clear communications with dive team.
