Permanent Full Time and casual roles available

About the role

In this role, our ideal Sheetmetal Tradesperson, Trade assistance and apprentices will work on a variety of Brisbane and interstate projects (with LAHA provided), seeing jobs out from workshop to install.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • fabricating/welding stainless steel and mild steel components
  • producing custom-built items incl. conveyors, chutes, and platforms
  • reading & interpreting technical drawings/fabrication specs
  • troubleshooting/working on various projects both on-site & in our workshop
  • maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What we're looking for

  • Full Australian working rights essential
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Light Fabrication (or working towards or experience) in Sheetmetal, Boiler making, or Fitting
  • Minimum 1+ years of fabrication experience required for trade assistant positions
  • Construction White Card and valid driver's license essential
  • TIG welding skills with MIG/Stick welding experience
  • High Level TIG welding experience required (food grade quality)
  • Willingness to travel interstate for shutdowns and breakdowns
  • Availability for interstate travel as needed for project requirements
  • Ability to read technical drawings and operate press brake/roller equipment.
