About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Isuzu Truck Workshop Controller to join our dynamic Service team. This is a key position responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our workshop, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of work while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role would suit an Automotive Technician looking to transition into a leadership role or someone with existing workshop coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule work for technicians, including road tests and customer collections
  • Provide accurate and timely quoting
  • Build strong relationships with service and workshop teams
  • Oversee workshop operations in collaboration with the Service Manager
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Support the development of team members and workshop procedures
What We're Looking For:
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently
  • Previous leadership experience in a service department (Workshop Controller experience preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle servicing and workshop operations
  • Mechanical/automotive trade qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, organization, and delegation skills
  • Strong people management and problem-solving ability
  • Monday to Friday availability
