The opportunity we have available:

We are looking for a responsible and professional Storeperson, with industry experience, who is energetic and enthusiastic with a strong customer focus.

We need a Storeperson who will help us achieve our vision by building and maintaining strong business relationships with our customers.

The successful applicant:

  • Will be available for this Full Time position.
  • Must be available to work some weekends and public holidays.
  • Must have a current forklift licence.
  • Will provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of hardware, timber and building products beneficial.
  • Have the ability to work well in a busy team environment.
  • Have the ability to do some heavy lifting and repetitive movement.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager will include:

  • Face to face customer service in the Warehouse Drive Through and over the phone.
  • Picking and packing of customer orders and transfers.
  • Stock filling and assisting with keeping the overall presentation of the store clean and tidy.
  • Ensure your health and safety are prioritised in everything you do.

BMS Mitre 10 was established in 1934 and is a trusted progressive locally managed hardware and building material supplier based in Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, Queensland. We have 3 stores located in Toowoomba. BMS Mitre 10 supply hardware, building materials, timber, power tools, hand tools, house paint, plumbing, bathroom fixtures and fittings, electrical fittings and garden products.
