Office Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Office Administrator to join our team at G-Spot Engineering & Mechanical in Collinsville, Queensland. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our office operations and providing administrative support to the technicians in the workshop.

Full training will be provided on all aspects of the job. Experience working in an automotive repair business is not required.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all office administration tasks, including ordering supplies and parts, maintaining records, and handling correspondence with clients, customers and suppliers

• Provide administrative support to the workshop technicians, including scheduling services, preparing job cards, and service packs

• Assist with management of invoices and remittances

• Act as a key point of contact for clients and suppliers, ensuring excellent customer service

• Implement and maintain efficient office systems and procedures

• Support the accountant with invoicing, payments, and other financial tasks as needed

• Contribute to the overall smooth running and organisation of the office

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other office software

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of office administration procedures and best practices
