About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bush Regenerator to join our team. You will play a hands-on role in restoring and managing natural environments across project sites. Working closely with Ecologists, project teams, and stakeholders, you'll undertake fieldwork such as weed and pest management, support environmental compliance, and contribute to the successful delivery of ecological projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Relevant certificate and qualifications

  • ACDC Spray Licence or Chemcert (AQF3)

  • Valid Class C Driver's Licence

  • Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)

  • 5 years of relevant experience in ecological restoration, including assisted regeneration, revegetation, and large-scale weed control

  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain

  • Demonstrated leadership experience

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Undertake fieldwork on assigned sites, including weed and pest management, daily site reporting, and supervising the implementation of environmental projects.

  • Review project documentation and specifications, providing input on design, scheduling, cost-saving measures, and operational forecasting in consultation with the Site Ecologist.

  • Collate, analyse, and report on environmental matters. Advise stakeholders on project-specific and legislative requirements and maintaining high-quality reporting standards.

  • Monitor subcontractor works, audit environmental plans, and support cost control, scheduling, and variation management to ensure compliance with project and organisational requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with site teams and field ecologists, liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and senior management to resolve issues and deliver outcomes.

  • Act as the face of the business on projects, ensuring high-quality, professional outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company objectives.
