Mechanical Supervisor

CPC Engineering is seeking an experienced SMP Mechanical Supervisor to join our team with our Pilbara division. We have long term MSA Agreements in place with global leading iron ore producers and as such we are seeking a highly motivated individual who prides themselves on delivering high quality results day in day out.
Working closely with our Superintendent, this role suits an individual who can deliver timely maintenance/project/shutdown work, whilst also bringing forward new leads and projects in the development of the mechanical team.
The Role:
- Oversee structural, mechanical, and piping (SMP) installation works on fixed plant (NPI, crushers, conveyors, pumps, screens, etc.) as well as locomotive and track machine operations.
- Co-ordinate and assist in shutdown scheduling and delivery.
- Lead a crew of boilermakers, riggers, mechanical fitters, and trade assistants
- Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance on site
- Coordinate with planners, engineers, and other supervisors
- Perform detail scoping and assistance with estimating in conjunction with the estimating team and Superintendent.
- Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship
About You:
- Proven experience as an SMP Supervisor in the mining/resources sector (essential)
- Strong background in fixed plant construction or maintenance (iron ore experience highly regarded)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and DAS
Qualifications & Tickets (required):
- Australian-recognised trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Current WA C-Class Drivers Licence (minimum)
- Working at Heights, Confined Space (within 2 years)
- High Risk tickets highly regarded (Forklift, EWP, Dogging/Rigging)
- S26 supervisor (or willingness to obtain) advantageous
