Amtek is currently recruiting for an Senior and Qualified Auto Electrician to oversee installations within our Specialised Projects Production Team
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Auto Electrical assembly / installation within our Specialised team
- These projects are custom installations and requires an Auto Electrician experienced
- You will work closely with the Team Leader and production team of various trades to plan installations.
- Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles, including. harnesses, light bars, message boards, sirens, antennas, speaker units.
- Installation, service and diagnostics of vehicle air con unit
- Programming OEM Computer Systems.
- Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
- Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
- Teaching other tradesman and apprentices
- When needed installation of non electrical components
- You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail working towards strict deadlines.
What we need from you:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and or engineering
- Minimum 6 years related experience within similar industry
- Vehicle Repairers licence
- Automotive Air Condition licence
- Ability to solve practical problems and think on your feet.
- Motivated, reliable and committed.
- Work well under pressure and towards deadlines.
