About the Position

We're after two skilled horticulturalists to help maintain and improve our parks, gardens, and turf areas. If you enjoy outdoor work and take pride in keeping public spaces looking their best, this role is for you.

You'll be involved in planting, maintenance, mowing and rejuvenation work, as well as spotting plant health issues and operating machinery safely. You'll support day-to-day planning, guide contractors, and mentor team members on best practices. Safety matters too — you'll apply traffic management when needed, identify hazards, and follow procedures. When the Team Leader's away, you'll help lead on site and keep things running smoothly.

We're looking for reliable, experienced people who enjoy teamwork, know their tools, and want to make a difference in their community.

This role includes standard full-time hours, with approximately 30 minutes of paid overtime available each day. All overtime is paid in line with the applicable award or agreement.

About the Person

To be considered, you'll need a Certificate III or higher in Horticulture, a current WA White Card, and a valid WA C class driver's licence. A MR licence would be a bonus.

We're after someone with solid hands-on experience in horticulture, including turf care, planting, and general landscape maintenance. You'll know how to choose the right plants for local conditions, use fertilisers and chemicals safely, and follow planting specs confidently.

You'll be organised, able to juggle tasks, and meet deadlines without cutting corners. Being able to read basic landscape plans, use digital systems for daily work, and keep accurate records will also be important.
