About Our School

STAPCC is a state-of-the-art Kindergarten to Year 12 college that provides opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. We aim to develop confident, independent young adults in richly resourced learning environments designed to engage students. The college is situated in close proximity to future university campuses, the South-West Rail Link and M5, on a beautiful, spacious property. About You

As a TAS Teacher (Hospitality), you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students
• qualification and experience in teaching Food Technology (stages 5 and 6), Hospitality (Stage 6) and other TAS subject areas
• ability to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences
• commitment to academic excellence
• exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of contemporary, evidence based pedagogical approaches that support effective learning
• ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectations through positive support of student learning
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing effective feedback
• demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
• ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to promote a shared commitment to teaching and learning.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
