About the role

Seeking experienced HR & HC Drivers to join the dynamic team at Dr Earthmoving in Greenbank, Queensland. This is a casual role, providing the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials to support our construction and infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate heavy rigid and heavy combination vehicles to transport a variety of materials and equipment
  2. Transport general freight materials using appropriate handling and safety procedures
  3. Perform pre-start checks and maintain vehicles in line with safety and compliance requirements
  4. Coordinate delivery schedules and liaise with site managers to ensure timely and efficient distribution
  5. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, company policies and safety procedures
  6. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Current HR or HC driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving
  2. Extensive experience operating heavy vehicles in a construction or logistics environment
  3. Minimum of 1-2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience required
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple deliveries
  6. Commitment to workplace health and safety
  7. Australian work rights are required for this position
