Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical tradesperson to join our team for a FIFO/DIDO Field Service role in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of trade-related tasks, including mine site machine maintenance & repairs, breakdown repairs and labour support roles. This is a full-time position with regular working hours.

Skills:

- Proven experience as a qualified tradesperson (previous mine site experience will be highly regarded)

- Strong technical skills in your specific trade

- Excellent problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Carrying out vehicle/machine maintenance and repairs according to job specifications

- Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions

- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately

- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

- Keeping accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

- Certification or qualification as a tradesperson in a relevant mechanical field (e.g. Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic)

- Will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and a national police clearance

- Must have full Australian Work Rights (Note: we are not seeking to nominate or sponsor visa holders for this role)
