Store Manager and Assistant Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic Store Manager and Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at INDIANIC, providing an exciting and unique opportunity to work with some of Australia's leading fashion and swimwear brands on the idyllic Rottnest Island. Both these roles will work alongside our existing store leadership team throughout the peak season, also providing leadership coverage for days off.

INDIANIC is the only boutique on WA's iconic Rottnest Island and carries a wide range of Australian designer brands including Camilla, C&M, Seafolly, Jets, Nobody, Blanca and many more as well as men's and kids wear, offering a unique and pleasurable shopping experience for our customers.

As Store Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading the store demonstrating strong leadership skills, operational acumen and a commitment to delivering an exceptional shopping experience are key to succeeding in the role.

As Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in managing the store retail team and you will oversee the store in the Store Manager's absence. You will lead/supervise and inspire the team to consistently deliver outstanding exceptional customer service.

We are offering both positions on a Casual basis, and in our busiest months, we would be able to offer full-time hours.

All applicants should have:

• Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor/Manager is preferred, with a passion for fashion.
• Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills and a passion for creating a positive shopping environment.
• Strong merchandising skills with the ability to create visually appealing displays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Store Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for recruiting, training, developing and managing a high-performing team, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage the day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, merchandising and ensuring continuity and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs, helping with an 'of course' attitude and resolving customer inquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Implement effective displays and promotions and maximise sales through developing the team's selling techniques.
• To work closely with the local community to meet and exceed their expectations with an 'of course' attitude.

Assistant Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in training, developing and managing a high-performing team. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs, helping with an 'of course' attitude and resolving customer inquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, merchandising and compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring continuity.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement effective displays and promotions. Contribute to achieving sales goals through upselling, cross-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
• To work closely with the local community to meet and exceed their expectations with an 'of course' attitude.
