HSEQ Coordinator

Working closely with Project Managers and Directors as part of a dynamic team, you will take charge of managing all aspets of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance across all construction projects.
Skills and experiences:
- Solid understanding and commitment to HSEQ principles
- Minimume of 1 – 2 years of previous experience in a similar HSEQ or safety administration role is desired
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety required
- Proficient in using Microsoft 365 (word, excel, etc) and online compliance portals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-presented, practical, and solutions-focused mindset
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Risk Assessments for site and office operations.
- Adhere and maintain ISO Accreditation audits and documentation.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, follow up on corrective actions
- Maintain HSEQ documentation, registers, and audit logs
- Coordinate and track inspections, audits, and compliance activities
- Support ISO certification, audit readiness, and system updates
- Deliver internal toolbox talks, wellbeing initiatives and safety campaigns
- Provide on-the-ground support to all levels of the team on HSEQ initiatives
