We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has a passion for delivering excellence and join our Operations Coordinator team. Our ideal candidate will be detail-orientated and experienced in supply and distribution to oversee supply chain operations.

We are looking for a full-time, Operations Coordinator

This role would suit someone who is looking to secure a career in the Transport and Logistics sector, or someone who already has experience in the industry.

Applicant needs to live within the Albury - Wodonga Region

You will be completing all tasks and duties required for the logistics coordinator position, as well as other administrational duties.

You will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling and planning of loads to ensure targets are met and deadlines are kept
  • must have knowledge with importing and exporting container Movement
  • Booking time slots as well as wharf manifesting etc.
  • Communicating with drivers, customers and colleagues to safely deliver loads on time
  • Creating strategies to resolve and pivot quickly from issues as they occur
  • Ensuring all members of your team work together to always provide the customer with the best outcome
  • Demonstrate developed computer skills
  • People Management experience
  • provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Transport Industry knowledge & experience

Your duties will include:

  • Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
  • operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods
  • Must have experience within the cargo /Export industry
  • Support the Operational Manager in ensuring that all transport jobs are captured correctly on digital systems on a daily basis including the completion of incoming and outgoing paperwork
  • Ensure that potential errors and omissions are picked up, communicated and rectified.
  • Allocated fleet and staff as required.
  • Communicating daily jobs with drivers and customers.
  • Full Australian Working Rights are essential to be considered for the role.

This is a full-time permanent role. The successful candidate will need to undergo a police check, drug and alcohol screen, and have a valid driver's licence.
