8hr shifts 5 days a week with a reasonable amount of OT, some weekend work is also available

  • Covering all of Canberra
  • Start time 4-5am.
Full-Time available with an Immediate Start.

Requirements

To be successful in gaining this position you will have the following:

  • HR License
  • NO CRIMINAL RECORD
  • PERMANENT RESIDENT OF AUSTRALIA
  • Be Reliable
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Have good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-start and post finish check on truck
  • Obey traffic and heavy vehicle laws
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Hours of Heavy Vehicle Driver Fatigue Law.
  • Empty bins from customer sites as per supplied routes
  • Accurately record collection data for each customer on iphone or ipad supplied.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in waste industry
  • Mechanical knowledge and/or experience
