Location: Noble Academy – Chatswood, NSW

Job Type: Casual / Part-Time (with potential for expansion)

Start Date: June 2025

Noble Academy is seeking a passionate and inspiring Drama / Acting Teacher to join our growing team of educators in music, arts, and performance. We are looking for an individual who can spark creativity, build confidence, and nurture expressive skills in children and teens through engaging drama and acting classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver weekly drama/acting classes tailored to different age groups (e.g., 4-5, 6-9, teens)

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression

  • Prepare students for small performances, showcases, or drama-based projects each term

  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to holiday programs, concerts, and school-wide events

  • Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding progress and class goals

Requirements

  • Background in theatre, performing arts, acting, or related field

  • Teaching experience with children and/or teenagers preferred

  • Enthusiastic, patient, and engaging teaching style

  • Strong classroom management and clear communication skills

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) required

Bonus Skills (Not required, but a plus)

  • Experience with musical theatre, stage direction, or production

  • Ability to integrate movement, improvisation, or storytelling into lessons

  • Mandarin language skills (for some classes) a plus but not necessary
