About the role
This role is hands-on and pivotal in developing and implementing back-end components, services, and integrations for AEM. Your expertise will ensure high-quality code, efficient data management, and seamless integration with enterprise applications. You will also play a key role in technical design decisions and solving complex AEM challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, dispatcher configurations, and workflows.
- Implement critical integrations between AEM and enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, core banking, analytics platforms) using REST APIs, GraphQL, and other patterns.
- Participate in technical design discussions and architectural reviews, contributing to robust technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Front-End Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, adherence to guidelines, and identify potential issues.
- Apply AEM best practices and ensure code quality through automated testing.
- Develop, configure, and support Adobe AEM Forms for secure and efficient digital workflows.
- Work with infrastructure and security teams to address networking considerations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize AEM performance in cloud environments.
About you
- Proven experience in AEM back-end development (Sites and Assets).
- Strong knowledge of Java, OSGi, Sling, and JCR.
- Experience with AEM workflows, servlets, and custom components.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration patterns.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and solve complex technical problems.
